THE MAGNIFICENT SEVENS
Twickenham Road, Richmond, TW9 2SF
In 2025 we will retain the playing format from 2024.
THREE COMPETITIONS:
Main, Plate and Bowl
Teams in the main competition are seeded based on the results from 2024.
The Tournaments will kick off with the first games at 12:00 and the finals commencing from 18:00 to 19:00.
We will operate the pool system employed in 2024 for all competitions and the Plate & Bowl will not split until the semi-final stage.
Please note that in addition to the main competitions teams also have the chance to compete for the Player of the Tournament and the Fair Play Award.
The winners of both awards will be judged by the Committee and the Referees. The Fair Play Award will be won by the team that competed in the ‘best spirit’, even if results did not go their way!
Following the interest received in previous years, we will again be running a Mixed Touch Rugby Tournament.
The tournament will start at approximately 16:45, once the pool stages of the main competitions have been completed. Six players are allowed on the field at any one time, with up to four reserves off the field.
This is a Lloyd’s of London market event. It follows and supports the Standards of Business Conduct (SBC) at Lloyd’s. These prohibit harassment, discrimination, or offensive behaviour of any kind.
